D. Radbourne: Firstly, never ever give out your telephone number, etc - this site is clearly not an 'offical site', and nobody is every going to email or phone you personally - you've just opened yourself to malicious people on the web.
And since its not an offical site, nobody here can do anything to fix it.
Next - since you've put in your postcode into the site, the links below your post show if there is anything in the way of your signal, direction of transmitter, an estimate of the signal quality, transmitter status, etc. You can clearly see that there is something between you and Ridge Hill about 15km away, but DigitalUK reckons your fine overall.
Since the transmitter seems to be working normally, then that just lives your own system. And almost certainly thats where the problem lies - could a be a lose connection, water getting into a cable, frayed wire, etc, but thats the likely problem, and you need to check it.

I hope you can help. My freeviwe box's asked me to rescan, which I did and now my news is the west instead of central. I live in credenhill, Hereford HR4 7RR and now getting Glosetershire new with bath in it. Hope you can help

Sheila : Ridge Hill is unusual in that it broadcasts two ITV regions (Central and West), although ITV West isn't predicted to be available at your postcode (it's broadcast directionally towards Gloucester and Cheltenham as both are covered editorially by ITV West rather than Central). You should be able correct this by going to the manual tuning page in your box's menu and selecting UHF channel 25, then scan for channels.

Bob Pearce & Ray Thompson: The problems you are seeing are very likely cause by the high atmospheric pressure affecting various parts of the country, causing lift conditions which allow signals from distant transmitters which cannot normally be received to interfere with the signals from the transmitter you normally use. Retuning was a bad idea as you have now deleted all of your channels which were correctly tuned. As this is an entirely natural phenomenon, all you can do is wait for the atmospheric conditions to return to normal.
