Your information about the March retune does not match that at DigitalUK. They say 21 Mar 2018 and have completely different channel assignments. Some of their advice is a bit dodgy: they suggest that the new channels can be received on a group K aerial but that may struggle reaching up to C59. A group T may be needed as muxes start at C29.

Pete Forman:

It would be better to use a log-periodic aerail as that will cover all the current and future channels used by all UK TV transmitters so you will not need to change it again later.

Tony jones: BBC4 HD is on the Com 8 mux, which that transmitter does not have, not the Com7. But it does have pretty much everything else, and of course is not a 'light' transmitter. So yes, it is officially a full transmitter.

Freeview Guide + EPG stopped working early February 2018 No previous problems since digital started. Just have slow now & next display. Have had 2 new channels update and have also have tried deleting all channels and rescanning. On aerial using Midhurst transmitter. I am in RH1 4JR South Nutfield Surrey, in my location Midhurst is only signal usable. External aerial with booster on roof, was replaced 3-4 years ago. Has the EPG info been removed or changed, no problems until the first channels update early Feb? All TV reception, text etc otherwise fine

Stephen Sheppard: PBS America is broadcast on the temporary COM8 multiplex from 30 transmitters which cover around 70% of UK households. There are no plans to expand coverage and COM8 is expected to close (along with COM7) some time between mid 2020 and 2022.
