We have had very poor and sometimes no TV signal at all over the last few weeks and its becoming worse and unwatchable. We have tried all suggested things such as re-tuning, unplugging everything, re-tuning then plugging back in and repeating and nothing is making a difference. Occasionally we will be re-tuned into the welsh network but that doesn't work either. Please can you look into this and provide us with an explanation and date of fixture?

We are located in Berrynarbor EX34 9SA

Kind Regards

Steph Kuczer: Retuning will never fix a problem with weak signal. As there are no faults showing for the transmitter and no one else is reporting anything similar, the problem is most likely at your end. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?

Good morning,
Since yesterday, 13Mar, all of my Freeview equipment (TVs and 2 x Topfield 5810 recorders), has had problems with the EPG guide. Most of the programme descriptions consist of unintelligble characters, not all channels are affected.
Has this been due to recent work on the xmitter?
Has it been drawn to the Huntshaw Cross Engineers?
Anybody have the same problem?
Help needed, please
Regards, Geo Swindail (EX39 3QH)

My Toppys had the same problem of screwing up the EPG. I have solved the problem on one of my Toppys now working on the second. I have put a post on Toppy.org.uk ~ View topic - MyStuff 6.6

Hope that helps

What are you doing to improve the signal into Fremington at EX313BS as the signal here is very weak. Also e.g. is also causing problems of interference to tv signals.Filters are fitted butinterference still occurs. Any help or advice welcome

After the engineering issue on 13/3/19 all the channel guide information text is scrambled - both on the channel guide and on the "info" button.

When will this be fixed? It is affecting people from Torrington to Bideford - anyone who gets their signal from the mast.
