reg gray: You most likely have a Group C/D aerial which is not designed to receive the lower frequency now used for the COM4 mux from the Dover transmitter. If you don't have satellite or cable you should be eligible to have a replacement wideband aerial fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

Why are COM7 and COM8 not available on Dover transmitter.?
Will they be available in the future?

Dave Jones:
COM 7 and 8 are temporary services on 30 main transmitters only. There are no plans to extend the coverage at present. However, future changes to the transmission scheme will probably see the services carried on COM 7 and COM 8 being included in other multiplexes as they are changed from DVB-T encoding into DVB-T2 coding, which can carry more information but requires a TV capable of both receiving these transmissions and displaying them in HD when provided.

Freeview Dover does not match the channels you have listed. I start on 35 then go to 48, 50, 51 and finally 59. As you can see this isn't the same as either listing on your website. I don't remember any retune on 31 March putting everything in the lower frequency bands.

Once again I have to reiterate that this website is owned and operated by Briantist and only he can perform any updates, but he is currently unavailable apparently.

The site owner has not been able to complete the updates as yet after a period of forced absence. Best to use the Digital UK Covergae Checker and other utilities.
