It's just come up again, it says that my area is soon to be switched over and if I need help to ring a help line costing 4p per minute.
Strange as our switch over is due 27th June 2012!
It seems this message is coming up every time we switch channels, how annoying is that?
Hope it doesn't carry on for the 6 months.

Steve: The messages are displayed at intervals from about six months out and get more persistent thereafter.

BBC HD, BBC1 HD, ITV HD & CH4HD are in use at the moment, Freeview: ME8 area of Kent via Bluebell Hill. Will they stay or is this just a test. For example BBCHD on Channel 50.

Michael J Gunnill: After switchover you will still get these channels. However, you will have to retune as they will be moving frequency they are broadcast on.

Michael J Gunnill: The HD channels are not yet being transmitted from Bluebell Hill. They will be, on C40 from 27th June 2012. It is likely that you are receiving a signal on C47 from Sudbury/Rouncefall, or if on C31 it will be from Crystal Palace.

Is anybody else having reception problems with BBC4 lately from Bluebell Hill?
I've had the same setup for about 5 years or so now, but in the last week have had picture freezing and breakup. I've rechecked aerial direction and even raised it a little higher on the pole. We're in a fairly weak area but have always had reasonable reception with an amplifier.
