I don't have reception problems but the mast itself is howling in any breeze and has recently got so much worse with the installation of more equipment. It is so close to residential homes and the noise is not acceptable. It is particularly noticeable a night, when during hot weather you need your windows open and all you can hear is the constant whistling from the tower.

Claire McNeil: You could try contacting Arqiva who are the company that operate the transmitter. The contact page on their website (see link below) suggests that emailing community.relations@arqiva.com might be the best option for this kind of issue (although I'm not sure what can be done about the wind blowing through the structure).

Claire McNeil: Noise nuisance is a matter for the local authority. However, you could raise this with Arqiva without going to the local authority, in the expectation they will take your report seriously and take action accordingly. Should nothing come of that, then you should contact the local authority.
The contact number for Arqiva, as printed on the sign at the site is 01924 843625, as per the photograph here, dated October 2015:
mb21 - The Transmission Gallery
This telephone number is given on signs for at many transmitter sites, so you will have to identify which transmitter it is which you are calling in relation to. Illchester Crescent is site number 11008.

Luke:
Without some more detail about exactly what you are experiencing on which channels or multiplexes, and a full postcode, I can only draw your attention to the post before yours.
It'll probably be wise for you to check some obvious things such as is your aerial looking intact and still pointing as it was, is the coax secure and not flapping in the wind? Check all accessible coax connections and ensure there's no corrosion or water. Sometimes these sort of problems can affect one multiplex without an observable effect on the others.
Have you received a postcard from https://restoretv.uk/post…ure/ ?
