Where I live in Droitwich you can pick up a good freeview signal from Bromsgrove and poor freeview signal from Sutton Coldfield on an aerial poining at Bromsgrove.
On my Humax TV and on my original Goodmans box on auto it scans the lower channels and picks out digital channels from Bromsgrove then moves up the frequencies and sees the poor Sutton digital channels and overwrites the ones already stored. Some with no signal and some with massive pixelation.

Mike Fisher: This is quite unusual, most Freeview equipment uses the lowest frequency and ignores those at the high ones.
You will probably have less problems once switchover reaches the second stage at the Bromsgrove transmitter next week.

Jim Hall. Yes this is normal. It is only a problem in certain areas. When I lived in Belbroughton I did not have this problem.

revs: You are not predicted to get it from this transmitter until next year, you can get it from Ridge Hill, however.
