Paul: As you say you have a really strong signal so a piece of wet string is likely to work!

With the new COM7 and COM8 muxes being C32 and C34 respectively I too have a Group B aerial but, I am much further away than Paul (HU15 1ER post code). I generally get very good reception on Freeview from Emley Moor and currently receive all the channels (I do get an occasional blip every now and again in signal strength to cause the odd stutter).
Am I likely to need a new aerial to receive COM7 and COM8 muxes? Also will changing to a wideband aerial be a good idea being so far from the transmitter? Thanks.

Mike: According to the Digital UK tradeview link on the right of your post, you should get a good signal on COM7. In the end you may need a wideband aerial, but it's up to you whether you want to wait until 10th December to see what happens.

Mike: How were the digital signals from Emley prior to switchover? If you picked them up then I think you might get the new HD muxes, bearing in mind that their transmission powers are higher.

I bought an LG TV with HD receiver built in and have been getting all the HD channels with superb picture quality. Recently though the HD channels are not there. I've tried a retune and the receiver is not now even finding the HD channels 101, 102, 104 and 104.
My postcode is HD97NW close to Holmfirth.
Can anyone please advise what my problem may be.
Thanks
David

David: No problem in LS22 Emley Moor fine on all channels. According to this website's maps I am not in a 'green' area for Emley Moor but have never had any reception problems even before DSO.

Thanks for the replies Mike.
It's always annoying when something worked fine and then it doesn't. We moved to this house recently and I'm sure there is some aerial amplifier hidden away somewhere but not sure exactly where.

Just for info', the DigitalUK website says COM7 from Emley Moor will be 50kW not 16.7kW as stated above and suggests 10/12/2013 is a re-tune date so that may be the date it comes on test.
