I live in north Leeds Roundhay)and have trouble receiving BBC1,2,3, Yesterday, Film4, Dave,BBcNews Channel and those associated with the same. No problems wit ITV, Channel4, 5, 6 etc..

Should I just put up wit it until 21st September when transmitter power increases or are there remedies now?

Thank you

I have a freeview digital tuner in my Medion PC and good reception on all channels with line of sight to the Emley Mooor transmitter. What I cannot get is the Emley Moor EPG over the internet. It always comes up blank. Automatic downloads from all the other transmitters in the area work fine. I have reset, retuned etc endless times. Any ideas?

Aidan, sorry to read you are having trouble receiving Emley Moor signals.I live in Bramham, 3 to 4 miles south of Wetherby, about 24 miles north east of Emley Moor. I am not in the same position as you, in fact the a lot of the village is in a dip,and in that direction there is trees. But I am getting enough signal with help of a mast amp (in loft).May be your connections need check in? Just as an aside the other week during the night they must have been testing Full power because they test transmitting on the channels they will use after DSO. I connected a aerial meant for outside, but I positioned in the bed room window towards Emley Moor and surprisingly, I the signal strength was good enough an Quality good. no amp. I hope my relpy is of a little help?

There are a number of channels missing eg Ch12 15 & 21 on our main TV. However, these channels are fine on a TV in another room, both TV are connected to the same aireal.
The main Tv Cost over a thousand the other TV cost £200 why is this?

You need to look at the connections and things first, if you are running two TVs from one aerial there needs to be a good quality spliter box used, don't go buying boosters they don't work, sometimes the signal can be to strong causing overloading of the signal,if the cable is longer to one of the TVs the cable length can sometimes reduce the signal, the only true way to tell what is happening is to use a signal test meter.
