I switched on around 7.30AM Weds 21st and all my channels were still there (no retune)...is that normal or am I simply not in the elmley moor area (LS24 9US - Church Fenton nr. Tadcaster & Selby)?

Only got 18 TV Channels from the West Marton relay. Picture will not go into 16x9 format whatever you do so we have long stretched out people and that is with a new Panasonic wide screen TV. Waste of time, one of the last to get it and probably the fewest channels. They can send people to the moon but cannot give you the full Freeview package,very disappointed.

Al: You are shown as being "out of Freeview coverage" for that postcode on the official predictions.
You can easily be using the Belmont or Bilsdale transmitters, it just depends on the direction your aerial points.

hi for the first time i get all freeview channels my aerial picks up bbc 1 yorks and bbc1 lincolnshire plus the 4 hd channels i.e. bbc1 and bbbc hd channels itv and channel 4 but i feel sorry for all the elderly who have no idea on how to do a rescan on there freeview box and no doubt being charged over the odds to have this done for them what is such a simple procedure
