Just further to this, we have a Samsung TV with inbuilt freeview digital TV. We live in South Shields and for the last 6 yrs plus have had no problems at all. Recently I noted a poor signal on some of the channels, esp ITV1, the picture pixelating. Now, it won't even pick these channels (itv1, channel 4, channel 5 up at all and when I scan it can't find them. I've reset to factory settings but still no joy.Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Briantist - thanks for getting back. I've been trying auto stores over the last few days and still no ITV1/channel4 etc, but I've just tried it again there and it's addedd them all back in! Can only think the signal for this MUX group was too weak to pick up on the auto scans.

Ofcom have projected that a local television service for Stoke on Trent including Newcastle under Lyme could use an Interleaved Frequency on the Fenham transmitter using C30.
And this one belongs on Fenton not Fenham

Having a problem with reception on Channel's 12. Yesterday,15. Film 4, 24. ITV4 which are breaking down and pixalateing, several of the other platform channels have intermittent picture freezing I've checked signal strength and it's showing Red and says poor signal strength. I have purchased a new free view box
(Tvonics)and it was fine before the change over on the 12th. I have retuned the box but it has made little difference? Can you Help please?

Mr M. T. Whittle: These services are carried on Mux D and it is presently on UHF channel 57 from Fenham and C53 from Pontop Pike. Check that it hasn't tuned to the other.
If it is tuned correctly, then hopefully when it goes to full power on 26th, it will come good.
