Since the change on 18-4-18 I have been unable to get the Com 7 mux. This morning I unplugged the aerial and did a scan to clear all the channels and then plugged it back in and did another full scan. I now have all the channels back, but the Com 7 Mux channels are a very low quality and so keep dropping out. All the other channels are 100% signal and 100% Quality but the Com 7 channels are 85% Signal and only 10-15% Quality. I have a 5yr old wideband aerial, all new cabling 2yrs ago, Booster about 5meters from the aerial feeding 2 TV's. Aerial is up a 15ft scaffold pole which puts it above the roof line. I am only 10Miles from Hannington which is at a bearing of 231Deg from me (RG7 3EP).

Nick: It's about time that somebody updated the list of channel multiplexes for Hannington on the ukfree.tv site. What's the point of this site if that isn't kept in line.

This website is managed by Briantist and he has been made aware of the need to update the channel data for all the Freeview transmitters.

RG10 Area: No COM 5, Ch55 channels from April 18th 2018: From a successful re-tune after March 21st (along with a New wideband aerial and new Loft Amp!) all channels were restored here, including COM7 & COM8 (So BBC 4 HD and BBC New HD Restored). HOWEVER, since approximately April 18th COM 7 has only an 8/10 signal with 0/10 signal quality, and I am back to not being a able to receive BBC News HD etc (i.e. any channels on COM 7) again. As COM 8 channels such as BBC4 HD are fine still (8/10 signal and 10/10 signal quality ) this does seem to be a COM7/Ch55 specific-fault? Any ideas on fixing this problem would be gratefully accepted

Steve: 8/10 is plenty for signal strength, but the 0/0 quality suggests that you're picking up interference from somewhere.

Albert Honey:
You should be using the Oxford transmitter. From personal knowledge, the signals from there are good in almost all of Faringdon. Have a look at Coverage Checker - Detailed View which will tell you what transmitters are possible and give you the channels to tune to.

Albert Honey:
I assume you were using the Hannington Transmitter before the retune event. How reliable were the signals previously?
You are obviously in a very awkward location, what are your neighbours picking up?
It may pay to do a retune with the aerial unplugged to clear all previously stored information and then repeat that with the aerial reconnected.
