Briantist: Yes, but that was an accident, rather than a true cockup. You made me smile however with your joke about the Member for Witney! It does seem that Hannington is having problems as there are widespread reports of analogue problems (and I am assuming that the analogues are transmitted from the new antenna system, per the mb21 web site photos) and people can't get BBCA. I have multiple systems and DVB-T2 autoretuning boxes: they are showing nothing from Hannington, just CP. Will keep you posted. BTW your site is a true public service.

I live within 6 miles of Hannington at RG23 7LB and have always used the Hannington transmitter. I have retuned my digibox (which I have for recording purposes ) but now seem to be tuned to London and the only channels I can get BBC1,2,3,4 is on 800 to 803, which I presume is London region. I need Southern region. I tried a manual tune on BBC1 and changed to c.45 but whilst my box says im now getting 100% reception on the channel, I cant find 45!! What do I do please? Basically I need Hannington and not London.

mrdtv: There do seems to be lots of people posting that they can't get BBCA and problems with analogue. I expect Arqiva must be on the case.

tony: Yes, this does seem to be the case. I suspect the old advice "do not adjust your set" is problem the best thing to do for the moment.

John Pratchett: Crystal Palace uses channels 22 to 34. Hannington uses channels 40 to 46 (in two weeks time this will be 39 to 47).
If your receiver gives channel numbers (21 to 68) as it scans them when you run the automatic tuning function, then have your aerial unplugged whilst scanning CP channels and plugged in for Hannington.
If it only shows a percentage progress, then have it unplugged up to 30% to achieve the same result.

Dave Lindsay: If you have a Freeview HD or other D-Book 7 compatible receiver, it will present a menu of regions when you retune. Older boxes allocate the lowest frequencies first.

Its just been reported on another forum that there are antenna problems at Hannington and ALSO there is a screen shot from a spectrum analyser showing how weak the E45 signal is. As you say stay tuned.
