Hi it looks from above as if heathfield is transmitting freeview but the comments seem to say that hastings is the only freeview transmitter. Does heathfield transmit freeview currently but only east (i am in hailsham pretty much directly south, its N1deg to me). I cannot seem to work it out?

toby: You will be able to receive Freeview from Heathfield from 13th June 2012. If you want digital TV today, I would suggest you use Freesat. Compare Freeview and Freesat TV | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Toby, I am currently in Hailsham and am able to get freeview perfectly using a cheap wide band areial, please remember the arial needs to be positioned horizontally for the Heathfield antenna, I also had to replace the cabling with some satalite cable to achive descent results.

Haywards Heath. Is there any prospect of an early increase in the transmit power on Mux D at Heathfield? All other Muxes deliver signal strength typically better than 50 (typically 95/100 on Mux 2 and generally better than 60 even on the other 1000 watt Muxes) with low or non-existent BER, but Mux D is generally showing strength 10 to 16 with BER sometimes at maximum. I have only one piece of equipment that could interfere - a DVD/HDD recorder - but disabling this has no effect on received strength or quality and the same low strength and quality is shown on the recorder's own signal strength information. We have a new Wideband roof mounted aerial with masthead booster.

Jim Flooks: No, there will be no increases in signals until the day of switchover.
Multiplex D is so-called because it has the lowest signal level and coverage level.

Help !
I have been decorating, so unplugged TV/freeview etc.,
Now setting it all back up but TV/Freeview stating 'NO SIGNAL' on all channels ..
Stupid question ..
I have checked / re-checked aerial and seams ok .. is it me, or has something happened ?

For the past 2 Fridays I have lost all BBC Transmissions after 7pm. All other times it is mostly good. Although my post code is RH1 4QT my aerial is pointed at Heathfiled as this was recommended by the aerial engineer.
