Andy: As I understand it, ITV HD is only from Central TV regardless of where you live (I tghink Scotland is an exception).

In my earlier comment at 7.52 p.m., I referred to Central South. This should have said Central West.
Central South is of course now part of the Thames Valley micro region of Meridian West.
Sorry for the confusion.

Over the last few weeks we have had intermittent reception problems from the mendip transmitter in the evening. We retune the television and sometimes only get a few channels. The picture quality used to be 10 but now varies from 2 to 8. Postcode BA20 2NJ

Linda Dewar: You should be fine for Mendip (check the digitakUK link, etc), and you say it sued to be fine. First thing to check is your system. If your only getting a few channels, that might point to frayed cable, corrosion, mositure or a failing amp, etc.
Also check your actually tuned into Mendio, and not another transmitter by accident. If you retune the TV when there is a probablem, you've simply increasec the chances of picking up the wrong transmitter, thus making things worse.

This evening there seems to be reduced power/interruptions on MUX 7. Currently your faults page is not showing any for Mendip. Other MUXes seem OK.

At 9pm I watched Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I went back to BBC News Channel at 10pm and MUX 7 was back to normal. It has also been fine today- I've watched about two hours on 4+1 HD.

Hi, All,
I live in Chippenham (SN15 3PE) and for the last 2 weeks or so I have suffered terrible pixelation on COM 4 channels. Previous to this all channels were fine.
Is anyone else experiencing similar and any knowledge of reduced power.
Many thanks
