Glynis Spicer: There are ongoing works at Mendip transmitter, so you may see some disturbances like this during the day
Whatever you do - do NOT retune! The signal will come back on its own when the works end for the day, but if you retune, you will lose all your stored channels and have no idea when the work stops

I should be receiving programmes from the Mendip transmitter but I'm getting regional channels from Wales - how do I fix this? Auto-returning hasn't helped and I can't find how to manually select channels.

Then your TV has retuned and found the signals from Wenvoe first. The solution is to do a manual retune for each multiplex using the channel data given near to top of this page. Your User Manual will tell you how to do that.

Hello
I am not receiving channel 233 sky news or channel 46 challenge, i have retuned all my equipment. My aerial is in the loft, i can now get the above channels on my bedroom tv but no others despite being connected to the same aerial.
I have been in contact with my local electrical retailer who tells me he has had numerous calls from people since the re-tune took place.
My postcode is TA5 2NY.

bruce: Stop retuning - your just losing the fix on the transmitter that you already had. If your losing channels, the problem normally lies with your system - check leads and connections.

Retune has been confusing. Digital box (which is older than our Freeview TV) has BBC channels and Sky News.
Dispite second attempt the TV ( 3 years ) can not find these.

mike,
thanks for response, but as all other channels have come through the retune, I cannot see that the fault lies with my system.
any other helpful suggestions would be gratefully received.
would seem that this change is not working, how unexpected!!!
regards
bruce
