Barry: Digital UK do not currently predict any Freeview reception for you from Midhurst, at best you are only expected to receive poor/variable signals from Heathfield. This situation continues until, as you said, DSO at Midhurst at the end of February 2012. You should then receive all six muxes from Midhurst, with good reception predicted for your postcode area.

I have not been able to receive ITV 1,2 or 3 for at least three days. All other channels are okay.
I have a roof aerial plus a booster.

i normaly get bbc1,bbc2,itv1,channel 4 on analog tv but cant get any today ? also i have bt vision which i cant get anything on today so far either !

james: It says above that there is work being carried out on the transmitter and that its Freeview signal will be on low power. I would say that this is the most likely explanation for no analogue channels at the moment. I think that you should bide your time for now.

Dave Lindsay: Anything reported via the BBC - with [BBC] at the end - is a fault, not planned engineering works.
The BBC only report faults on their own channels: BBC One and BBC Two analogue, and Mux 1 (BBC One/Two/Three) and B (BBC Four/CBeebies, BBC Parliament). Faults on ITV/C4 etc are not recorded.
The high winds today would mean any planned engineering works would probably have had to be suspended anyway. There weren't any planned for this week (see
Digital UK - Planned Engineering Works for updates).
James: A total absence of anything usually indicates your aerial has fallen down or been damaged, or that a cable has become disconnected. If you're using an amplifier, check that the power supply is plugged in and switched on and that the fuse hasn't blown.
