We are on TalkTalk
All ok except we have lost BBC 1 and 2. BBC HD is ok
Tried retuning, everything!. Just got it back, but very poor picture and poor sound. Showing 26% signal quality
I guess it may be aerial on roof needs adjusting???

Anne McGowan: Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV and YouView box? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see the predicted coverage at your location. Retuning when you suddenly loose signal is never a good idea as you are deleting all of your correctly tuned channels and searching for them again, which will never fix a weak signal.

I have talk talk youview box and a new aerial with a booster but the tv channels are glitching especially itv related channels. Why is the signal so poor in the bn3 area?

Judy flint: We need a full postcode in order to see the predicted reception at your location (coverage checkers do not work on partial postcodes or place names). Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV and YouView box?

W. George Massey:
There is a major Retune event today where all but one of the muliplexes at your transmitter is changing UHF channel. You need to do a full retune of your set. Do you have a wideband aerial?
If you are having trouble getting the main BBC and ITV channels (multiplexes now on UHF 29 & 31) then you may not have a suitable aerial and providing you don't have Satellite or Cable TV you can get free help by contacting the Freeview Advice line on 0808-100-0288 where they should be offering to send an engineer to replace your aerial with a Group T / Wideband which is what you'll need to have satisfactory reception of all multiplexes.

Since the retuning of Oliver's Mount transmitter on 13/11/2019 we have no HD channels on both of our Tv's, we previously had all HD channels and we live close to the transmitter.
Could you offer me some advice please.

Without a full postcode, we can't look at the predicted reception at your location. However assuming it shouldn't be an issue, first I would try the following - unplug the aerial and do a full automatic tune. This should clear all previous tuning as no channels should be found.
Plug the aerial back in and then do a retune again and hopefully this will have restored all your channels.
If you are still having problems, I would check all you coax plugs, connections, flyleads etc, unplug connectors check for corrosion or other problems and reconnect them. See what signal strengths and quality you are getting for the multiplexes shown in your TV's tuning section, this might indicate potential issues with your aerial or downlead. Also check that your downlead looks undamaged and that your aerial seems intact and pointing in the correct direction.
Problematic connections, water ingress etc. can seem to affect reception of just an individual or several multiplexes.
All the above failing, if you have an old group C/D aerial this may be the cause of the issue, see my previous post here just before yours for possible free help.

Chris.SE: What is the cost of a replacement aerial to group T

As I do not know your requirements, I cannot answer your question. There are many variants of Group T aerials with differing gains. polar diagrams etc. of which I'm sure you may be aware. In any event, if you have a wideband aerial why would you want a group T unless you are having severe problems with a newish local phone mast and filtering was not adequately resolving the issue.
Additionally, it might depend on which transmitter you were trying to pick-up, a group T may not always be the best choice.
Lastly, unless you are doing a DIY installation, then you are best addressing your query and getting quotes from two or three of your local aerial contractors.
