Don't suppose anyone can give us an idea when we are likely to get a signal back, or should I be making alternative plans for the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony?

This has to be a sick joke who in their right minds plans maintaince work on a major sporting event. According to ofcom any complaint about signal loss is down to the BBC to investigate, so use the bbc website to lodge complaints

The aerial is in the loft as this estate is not permitted outside aerials. The aerial was fitted by a local engineer and tuned. It has an electronic booster.
In some weather conditions the reception is interrupted or even ceased - with breaking up of the picture into pixellation groups.
Yesterday afternoon reception was OK after nil reception on Friday 18th March.
We are unable to get some desired programmes such as UK Gold or Film on 4.

I have no signal via the communal aerial. I'm thinking OK let's go to BT vision, lousy service compared to el cheapo freeview box, but my partner is freaking out over no TV and into heavy withdrawal and I burnt the bread in the oven while trying to check all the connections so I try BT vision and same story no reception, can see TV guide but cannot see any programmes. Surely the engineering cannot affect all channels or cannit???
