Com7 com8 on channels 55 and 56 seem to be ok now. I retuned yesterday and picked up bbc 4 hd,, bbc news hd, ch4+1 hd and 4/7 hd without any problems. Suggest anyone who had issues after the channel changes tries a retune now.

Since April 2018, I lost several useful HD channels and VintageTV(SD), Gloucester GL4 5FJ. Re-scanned my Sony Bravia many times, missing channels are never found. Disappointed and not happy. Subscribed here for updates and awaiting a resolution.

Mr B Smith: Which HD channels are you missing? Vintage TV is carried on the COM7 mux which changed frequency at Ridge Hill several weeks ago and can now be found on UHF channel 55.

StevensOnln1: Yes since April 2018 I am missing many previously stable HD and SD channels, everything currently listed as COM7 and COM8 in this area.
COM7 now missing: BBC News HD, Channel4+1 HD, Channel47 HD, RT HD, Aljazera HD, CBSreality+1, 5USA+1, ViVa, VintageTv, plus a few others.
COM8 now missing: BBC Four HD, 5STAR+1, More4 1, Freesports, Forces TV, CBeebies HD, plus others.
Now a full rescan on a 2 year old Sony Bravia only tunes 147 channels (all Radio and Tv) with solid stable quality. I've fiddled with this n that but cannot recieve any COM7/COM8 channels on any of my Freeview TVs and boxes.
I can upgrade my antenna and better mount externally but it is annoying that the services used to work but no longer do for COM7/COM8. Can you post a link for better antenna options/info to consider in this area?
Regards.

Mr B Smith: You most likely have a Group A antenna which is not designed to receive the higher frequencies now used by COM7 & COM8 from Ridge Hill. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible to have a replacement wideband antenna fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

Why am i having so much trouble recently with CH27 - COM6 522MHz. Could it be weather related. Had a new aerial fitted recently plus amp and still CH27 is off intermittently. I do live a long way off in HR3 but it is so hit and miss. Any weather/transmitter related suggestions?
Thanks

Please provide a full post code so that we can see where you are in relation to the possible transmitters and what the expected reception conditions are likely to be.

Two nights running Ridge Hill Transmissions have stopped, very suddenly tonight. Last night it failed but by morning the signal had come back.

Andrew Bullock: Given that no one else is reporting any problems, it is most likely to be something at your end. If it is happening at the same time each night, you're probably suffering with electrical interference from something operating on a timer (probably something with an electric motor).
