Can anyone explain to me why the BBC (where you get sent from ofcom when you complain about signals) suggests Waltham and digitaluk.co.uk suggests Sandy Heath?

Hi there,
I live in a rented flat with a communal aerial in the centre of Cambridge and have a new Freview HD TV.
From your diagram of Freeview multiplexes it seems I am missing all channels on row 2, with patchy/missing reception for row 1.
Does this mean we require a wideband aerial? The rental agency are telling me the aerial has been checked, but I don't believe the person I spoke to really knows what she is talking about!

Ryan Harrison: No, it doesn't mean you need a wideband aerial, as all the multiplexes are out-of-group then you wouldn't see any of them.
You also won't get Freeview HD until switchover.
But on Wednesday 30th March 2011 the signals will improve considerably.
I would ask "the agency" to provide you with details of the company that manages the communal aerial system.

Frustrated in Kettering: I have just had a look at the Digital Uk predicted reception for NN15 5UR, the central postcode in Kettering. Today ,using Waltham gives 4 muxes whilst Sandy Heath gives 2. After 13th April 2011 Sandy Heath gives the 3 PSB muxes,31st Aug adds MuxA, 14th Sept gives 5 muxes and 23rd November all six. Waltham meanwhile gives all six muxes from 31st August 2011, with reception of MuxA getting better and Mux ArqB deteriorating slightly when Oxford switches over in September.

Hi again,
Thanks for your answer. I did notice that for a little while last night I seemed to be able to receive all the Freeview channels (including some that have never worked until now).
Is it just a case of waiting until the switchover is complete and all will be well?
