I receive Sandy signal. Before digital changeover I could poll around 100 Freeview stations. Since chaneover this has dropped to 74. Missing is typically ITV4, Russia Today etc. As a non technocrat of this subject, could somebody advise when this arqB transmission is going to be reinstated. My aerial is in the loft but that didn't affecaffectme before changeover.

Will: As above, "Arqiva B will temporarily move to channel 67 (at 20kW ERP) at switchover and then it will adopt its final allocation of channel 48 on 14 Sept 2011"

TonyL: Apologies, I had the transmitter as being as "switchover type 6" in the database and it is of course a "type 9".

I'm near Ely at CB62HT with my external wideband antenna pointing at Sandy heath transmitter. The programmes carried on the 3 low power multiplexes sometimes freeze, those on ArqB are particularly bad. My neighbour has no problems, so my set up must be marginal.
I would appreciate the definitive answer on whether the channel hopping that is scheduled for 14 Sept 11, 23 Nov 11 and then mid 2012 will turn up the power a bit before I start upgrading coaxial cables?

Karl: Yes the power does go up, ArqB on 14th Sept 2011, ArqB on 23rd November 2011 and SDN on 9th May 2012. Note that ArqA changes frequency to C67 on 14th September, so reception could deteriorate from its current level until 23rd Nov.

Karl: Should say ArqA on 23rd November 2011.

Currently residing at pe15 9nz. Ihave had to retune my Humax 9300T PVR manually. When I use auto tune, other frequencies/channels cause the pvr guide to not work properly. I thought I had this down pat, however i am now confused as to which channels I should be tuned to at this time? (is it 21, 24, 27, 31, 40 & 67) I realise this wouold change again next week.

Brian Greensides: Basically, you are in a bit of a pickle using Sandy Heath as I suspect you've got a Humax box that doesn't like the mixing of "8k" and "2k" modes, and this is going to be the case at Sandy Heath all the way to 23rd November 2011.
So, TODAY: 27, 24, 21+, 31, 40+, 67
From WEDNESDAY: 27, 24, 21+, 31, 67, 48
From 23rd Nov: 27, 24, 21+, 31, 52, 48
And then it will change again at least once to:
From 9 May 2012: 27, 24, 21+, 51, 52, 48
