Mike: The technical reason is that the HD multiplex comes from a different transmitter at Lichfield and very low power (4kW) transmission.

Yesterday, while watching the TV, most of the freeview digital channels suddenly disappeared, except 17 channels of BBC4, Sky News, Dave, and radio channels etc after tuning. The tv has been retuned several times, the same result. The analog has the 5 channels. The DigitalUK was phoned to, but said there was no problem with transmitter. Can you please help?
