Since there is nothing listed for the transmitter in the way of problems, if you have no signal, its almost certainly due to a failure in your system. Check your aerial connections.

Hi
I have been tuned to Sutton Coldfield (We are in Nortampton and should be on sandy Heath but have a hill behind us) for nearly 3 years with good reception. On Tuesday everything disappeared. The ariel was errected and positioned for this.
Retuning made no difference - we seemed to tune but signal strength was poor at less than 60
Has something changed?

I think I get my signal from Sutton Coldfield although I live in Oadby Leicestershire as I have West Midlands news. Over the past week I have all but lost signal for all commercial channels. Only a decent picture for BBC channels, why is this?

As of today,Arqiva have been broadcasting from the Sutton Coldfield transmitter a test transmission with tone at LCN 791 and 792,labled respectively Local TV test 1 and 2
This is for the local TV service City TV for the Birmingham and Black Country area.
Using channel 51,the signal strengths are a full 25dB down on the other digital services from S Coldfield, but it appears quite robust here in the South-east Shropshire area.
Be interesting to compare notes in other parts of the West Mids?
