Andrew Clinton: The only work was this morning, bringing the SDN up to full and on the main broadcast . This shouldn't have had any effect on of HD , unless you were close to having too much signal before, and the additional power on the SDN multiplex has now pushed it over the edge.

Don't throw away your old 2K box (Nokia etc. ITV/ONLINE DIGITAL). It may have 2 sockets and an RF modulator which will feed extension TVs in other rooms. Feed SCART leads from new box through old box (which must be switched fully on) to main TV, and connect low loss UHF coaxial extension leads from old box to extension TVs tuned to correct of old box , with a splitter if necessary. Also the old box may feed a stereo if fitted with phono audio output sockets, which many new boxes don't have.

ROGER AUSTIN: I can't think of a box where the incoming is as an RF signal, the RF is generated from the output of the frame generator system in the decoder.

ian from notts: There was good Inversion conditions so that is probably the reason. Once is complete, the should operate correctly even when there are "atmospherics".

Perhaps someone might be able to enlighten me with regards to the . I am able to receive with Excellent reception Channel 59, I can receive channel 61, 54 & 29 equally good, strong & stable. BUT and this puzzles me no end, I cannot receive 56 or 57. What could be causing this problem and would there any possible solutions? I have tried adjusting the amplification of the amp with no improvement.
PS Inlaw's system is working great now
