Hi, the site is great. I have been using it for a number of years to get mux details as I am on the borders of Wales and England and need to just get English channels.
Recently (March 2018) a few Muxes moved and although you show there was a move the frequencies don't seem to match my reception.
On the 7th April I lost ITV3 which was on Com4 (C58) It appears to now be on PSB2 (C59).
Would it be possible to update the Winter Hill tx channels and Mux details?
Once again, thanks for a great site and all your hard work.

If you visit the Digital UK website and enter your full post code, they will show you what channels are used for the multiplexes from your local transmitters.

Please clarify why poor signal strength/quality from tx channel 55.
The Tv channels I receive from Winter Hill on transmitter channel 55, are all indicated on channel 31 from the web page for Winter Hill. Is the information here current ?
i.e. Tv channels 56,82,87,97,107,109,110
Channel 55 transmitter power is indicated as 100kW, but reception quality for these TV channels (above) is 3 at best (but generally no signal) - postcode PR4 2BW
Signal quality is 10 from TV channels received from transmitter channels 31,37,49,50,54,56,58,59 which are all OK.
The problem is present on two televisions. Is channel 55 coverage different or lower power than advertised?

K Gardner: According to Digital UK COM6 is on UHF channel 37 at 100kW, COM7 is on C55 at 22.9kW, COM8 is on C31 at 22.6kW. The information at the top of this page doesn't seem to be have been updated to take account of recent frequency changes yet.

K Gardner:
If you click on the link for "digitaluk trade" at the bottom of your previous post, it will show you the predicted reception for you on the appropriate channel for each mux at Winter Hill.
COM7 (UHF55) and COM8 (UHF31) are indeed on a lower power of 22.9kW and 22.6kW respectively.
There is no main mux on UHF56 currently, this is a local mux and is only being transmitted with 2kW!
Now, if you are picking up this local mux OK, it does suggest there are unlikely to be any major problems with your aerial/coax, however bad/dirty connections at plugs and sockets etc have been known to mess up reception of an individual UHF channel, so it's worth just checking all your connections are clean and connecting ok. I'm assuming that you do have a wideband aerial.
What is not helpful here, is you will see that the predicted reception for you for COM7 (UHF55) is much poorer than COM8. This will most likely be due to co-channel interference from other transmitters on UHF55 and other than checking your aerial alignment, there's unfortunately not a lot that you might be able to do to improve things.

K Gardner:
Further to that said by fellow contributors above, you may need to change your aerial to a wideband type to enable recepotion of all available channels. If you look at thwe digital uk website with your postcode, Coverage Checker - Detailed View you will see that a wideband aerial is now recommended and it also shows the actual channels being used to broadcast the TV services. (Note that these are not the same as the Logical Channel Numbers used to identify each broadcast service, such as BBC 1 on LCN 1.)
You may qualify for some assistance, you can check by contacting Freeview on their website at www.freeview.co.uk/tvchanges or by ringing them on 0808 100 0288.
