Gino:
It doesn't seemed to be listed for Planned Engineering next week, but it's always possible the work hasn't been completed, there have been errors in the listings before!
BUT did you read my previous reply Winter Hill (Bolton, England) Full Freeview transmitter | free and easy
What was the outcome of the checks and suggested MANUAL retune?
There is still some quite variable weather related Tropospheric Ducting in recent days which can affect reception because of interference being received from more distant transmitters in Europe or the UK - not all multiplexes are necessarily affected, but this isn't normally sustained for any lengthy periods, nor is there normally any lengthy interruptions to transmission during engineering and even if they are on reduced power for a while, you should still be receiving signals -
Did you check with a near neighbour?
Have you received a postcard from https://restoretv.uk because you should have. If a new/updated mobile phone mast is very close to you, that could be causing ongoing issues but without more detail of your installation - do you have an aerial amp/amp-splitter etc. it's difficult to advise.

Karl:
My EIT program optionally outputs series CRID lists, organised by "default_authority".
Here is a dump that includes lists before and after the fix:
dump.7z (472.40KB)
https://www.sendspace.com…rx9u
dump.7z contains complete series CRID lists for both freeview and Freesat.
Slashless CRIDs remain for "GREAT! tv +1" on freeview and Freesat.
The default_authority for "GREAT! tv +1" is "sonycrimechannel.co.uk" on freeview but "great.tv" on Freesat.
The default_authority for wildearth is "wildearth.tv"

Thanks Chris. I'm no expert on how the code is configured and I wouldn't be able recognise where the errors might be without being shown.
(Couldn't actually retrieve the file, got as for as 'download' and constant requests to confirm 'I am not a robot' which eventually brought up a web based (so not genuine) security warning saying you are infected with harmful files and click here to scan... so I just closed the browser)
All good. No worries :-)

Hi. This is certainly NOT my area of expertise. I have however managed to download the dump.7z file ok and Malwarebytes said it was ok and MS Defender didn't come up with an issue.
I haven't looked at the file, not having time atm but would need to understand how theses errors appear etc.
js, for my edification can you try and explain how some of this errors appear in the EPG listing or synopsis when looking at what the set displays, and/or what other effects they may have?

AFAIK this information is not normally displayed although Humax have a way of showing it.
From the Wikipedia article:
Format
crid://authority/data
The "authority" part is "default_authority" and is usually present as a string in an SDT descriptor
The "data" part on freeview and Freesat appears as strings in descriptors at the event level in the EIT and always starts with a slash - or should do!
That makes no sense to me, given the format definition contains a slash, but that's the way it is.

Karl: Well, I checked before I posted that the download worked and was taken directly to the download page where I downloaded the file.
When I closed the page I found that a page with an advert for the Opera browser had been opened.
Sendspace have a paid for option of direct download link.
I would think what you saw was one of those dodgy antivirus adverts.

All:
As this hasn't been posted for a while, there were many changes to UHF frequencies across the country during the 700MHz Clearance program. The site owner here struggled to keep up with all the changes - there are over 1100 transmitters in the UK. Whilst a number didn't change, most changes were notified in PDF documents most of which had to be read manually.
Here on the Winter Hill page, two of the Local multiplex details haven't been updated.
For the sake of clarity, here is the current data -
In the multiplex order BBCA/PSB1, D3&4/PSB2, BBCB HD/PSB3, SDN/COM4, ArqA/COM5, ArqB/COM6
Winter Hill UHF channels are -
The main multiplexes are C32, C34, C35, C29, C31, C37
The Local ones are Local Manchester, Manchester GI on C24 & C27.
Liverpool Local mux on C21, Preston Local mux on C40.
If you hover over the C channel numbers, it should give you the frequency.
What you can receive and how well will depend on location, a full postcode is needed to look at predictions.

Chris.SE: Thanks Chris, I had need of that info only a few days ago and had to go hunting (lol). Another user of Sony equipment that is stuck on EPG update and Sony are blaming an 'unwanted' Ch 24 broadcast. How they conclude that I have no idea.
The user concerned is on Winter Hill and receives all the channels you list at 100% signal (even all the local ones).I think there is something else going on, however....
