Thanks Alex
Can you tell us what the reduced power is affecting e.g. all digital signals, ITV or what?
It doesn't help when the webpage reports:
"This transmitter has no reported problems"
I could be spending a fortune getting an engineer out when I don't have a problem :-?
Cheers
Mike

I moved into the BN3 area in October and have had a perfect analogue and digital signal up until about two weeks ago. Since then analogue Channels 4 and 5 suddenly both have a lot of interference. I bought a new freeview recorder today and can now no longer receive ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV2, etc. on digital. I tried reconnecting my old freeview box and they have gone from there too. Will this problem be rectified or is there something I need to do (I've tried the obvious reinstalling, etc. but this doesn't seem to have done any good).

Paul George: Please see Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice - there's definitely no problems with signal as I saw it working only moments ago.

Paul George, I agree with you. For the last few weeks the signal has been really bad. Last friday there was a post saying that there would be engineering work for another week. I am in BN42. I just hope they finish their engineering work and then I can retune and get my channels back. (this has happened in the past when there has been engineering work).

BBC1, 2, 3 etc went blank approx 6 weeks ago. Deceided not to rescan my BT Vision box just in case it was a temporary glitch but the channels didn't come back. Have now rescanned and they have vanished from the EPG all together. This happens on both my BT Vision box and on the TV tuner. the ariel looks to be in a good state and pointing in the same direction as my neighbours towards Whitehawk. Have tested everything and am certain that it isn't my installation or equipment.

From what I see above this is not an isolated problem but I was wondering if there is any advice that I have perhaps misunderstood, Would changing the RF channel of the BT box make any difference or am I clutching at straws and will just have to be content with an analogue signal until switch over? I live in the BN3 1 area of Brunswick Town

Thanks!
