ITV3 Problem.
Before the Easter Weekend I had ITV3. Today
I retuned because ITV3 was listed as No Signal and now it has gone from my list of channels. Has something changed over the weekend?

Hello all! Me again! I have recently moved to Worle near Weston-super-Mare and am now happy as I now have a full range of freeview channels now! Including quest, ITV3 etc. However, this is only on my main telly downstairs in my living room.
Up in my bedroom I can only seem to receive the PSB channels and none of the Commercial Multiplexes. Could this possibly be down to the fact that I may have a poorer quality wall socket in my bedroom than downstairs? I have tried the single frequency interference help guide but sadly to no avail. As far as I can work out, my aerial is in the loft.
But it just seems a bit strange that I have perfect signal for all channels downstairs but upstairs only the PSB ones.
Many thanks in advance all
Gareth

I have a roof top aerial, not sure what band, and a masthead amp. It was pointed at Winterbourne Steepleton and producing a good analogue signal this morning, so I'm fairly sure it is not a wiring problem.
According to the map here, I should be getting a good signal from Mendip, but I have repolarised and moved the aerial and the TV's signal strength meter shows nothing, not even a flicker. I've tried Rowridge too. Am I just expecting too much? I never got much of an analogue signal from either of these.

Pete Hammond: The Digital UK postcode checker does not show any reception for Mendip at your location. However you should be able to receive a full service from Rowridge. Use a group A receiving aerial set for horizontal polarisation. Switchover takes place on 7th and 21st March 2011. Winterbourne Steepleton will offer the 3 PSB muxes only. A full Freeview service will be available from Rowridge with the COM muxes switching to high power working on 18th April 2012.Also on this date all six muxes will additionally be transmitted with vertical polarisation which is expected to give better reception at your location.

KMJ: Thanks for the pointers. It looks like I'll have to wait the year, or mend the satellite receiver. The trouble with Rowridge is there is a hill right next door in that direction (which is presumably why they put the Steepleton repeater in).

Any idea as to why I have suddenly lost ALL channels on the 62, 56 and 67 frequencies when they were working fine before. Is this anything to do with recent switchovers in my area? I live in Forest of Dean but aerial points to Mendip

I live in Melksham and receive my TV pictures from Mendip. I have a loft mounted aerial. I can get all channels on my Samsung TV but i can only get BBC Progs (CH61) via my Panasonic HDD Recorder. I find this strange as the main aerial feed goes via the Panasonic Recorder!! I have tried clearing the channel list on the Recorder and have retuned either by Strongest Signal or Area Signal and Manually but to no avail. Anyone any ideas please?
