Thanks Briantist
However - They only solution I have found is to remove my digital booster that I was using to spilt my signal and rund two TV's off my aerial - I did not initially think this was the problem because I have been using this configuration since day one - with no problems. I even bought another booster to see if that one was kaput but face the exact same problem; loss of muxes.
I now have to think of a way to run my second TV in kitchen.
After seeing some posts about too much signal I may try a non powered split and see if that works

Ben whitehouse: Assuming you are pointing the aerial at Sutton Coldfield. I would suggest you use satellite-grade cable to connect the aerial to the set-top box.

Have a new digital aerial installed on the chimney, can't receive any channel correctly. BBC just freezes and ITV and 4 + 5 with nothing but blank screen.
Aerial company take your money but refuse to assist any further. I paid for digital signal, but now three weeks with no TV at all. Help.
Tried two freeview boxes, scart leads and coax leads. Still no good. Is it me? or have I been sold goods not fit for sevice? Sick of digital aready.
