Kieran R: I've told you before, the service on multiplexes A, C, and D for you is expected to be poor. That means it will break up from time to time, you're not expected to even get clear reception 50% of the time.
As previously discussed, your best option is Hannington, if you can somehow look over or around the trees blocking line of sight.
After switchover, you are not predicted to get any of the commercial muxes from Crystal Palace. This is because the commercial muxes from Rowridge will use the same frequencies. As far as we know, the broadcasters are not trying to provide a large-area Single Frequency Network, or if they are, you're in the area where it won't work.

We had a power cut today and new Samsung TV was on at the time and then afterwards it lost all its Freeview channels.
After carrying out a channel tune it is now not picking up any of its original DTV channels and only 3 analogue channels!
Is this something to do with the recent pop-up notifications about the changes to channel/red button tuning?? The weather is bad but no worse than a normal rainy day so I don't understand why it now won't pick up any digital channels. The 3 analogue channels are a VERY weak signal and not worth bothering with.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be happening?

catherine: Do you know the cause of the power cut?
One possible answer is that you have an amplifier or booster that is mains powered and you have not managed to restore power to it.

I have the same problem as RichT, all channels on multiplex 2 (UHF 22 Crystal Palace) disappeared a few weeks ago. The reception became progressively worse, I managed to get them back by rescanning for all channels, but they are gone for good for last ten days. Rescanning for channels doesn't even register them anymore, even when I do re-scan after disconnecting my video recorder that might be causing interference. I had the same problem last year, but never for so long and persistent. I noticed that analogue signal deteriorated at that time. I am using an old Phillips box that has worked fine all these years.
