I'm now a bit uncertain about the source of C27. I'd guessed Sheffield since the channel used here and Crookesmore and Emley More are only about 15 deg apart. The power seemed plausible, too. But Sheffield's vertically polarized, of course, and our aerial is horizontal. Not that it really changes the problem.

Sorted! Did a proper factory install with aerial out, followed by manual tune on C47 and C44, which we now get at the expected power. Thanks for the help; it kept me moving.

Hello, I can get all 5 normal multiplexes on very good falling to good on an idoor aerial in my room. (postcode: YO26 4TU), however i cannot recieve HD channels at all on 41. My downstairs outdoor aerial cannot either. Do you need a HD box to recieve a signal, because my TV is HD. Also is it possible to recive belmonts transmissions on channel 22, because i would like look north Lincolnshire too.

Emley Moor broadcasts ITV HD (Granada). There is no Yorkshire service - there are only a few regions and each transmitter is assigned the nearest.
