Mike from LE4 0US. Since the changeover my signal strength has gone from 60% to an erratic 40, 30, 20 15 while i,m watching tv and then I lose it altogether. I.v tweaked my aerial about 10 times and I still cant get common stations such as BBC1, 2, ITV2, Film 4. I have freeview built in the tv But the day of the changeover everything changed. My girlfriend at LE3 1ST also in Leicester along with others have the same promblem. We both have Digial tv aerials. This is seethingly frustrating!!!! Grrr! Can anyone help? (LE4 0US)

Chris: DUK show March 28th next year as the date for the COM mode change (SDN from 2k to 8k) and power up.
N.B. There's a retune event this Wednesday (28th) - all three COM MUXs change channel and Arq A changes mode (16QAM 2k to 64QAM 8k). Don't know if you may get some interim power increase at the same time.

There is some confusion as to where mux ArqA will be later tonight. The OFCOM document Digital Switchover Transmitter Details for the West Region Issue 4
http://stakeholders.ofcom….pdf says it's moving from 56+ to 56.
But DigitalUK Trade View says it's moving to 67 (vacated by ArqB).
Interestingly, DigitalUK TX details page for the West Tranbsmitters shows it as being 56.
We will see later :)

Briantist: Hi Brian, any chance you can update the Mendip UHF Channel numbers at "Digital switchover process details" & "After Wednesday 7th April 2010".
It's somewhat confusing for the uninitiated when looking at the MUX lists above these.
To clarify for anyone who is confused, currently -
Arq A is on C67, Arq B is on 52, SDN is on C48.

Chris.SE: The move to C67 was a very late-breaking change, the Digital UK Installers Newsletter describing today's retune was issued on the 29th of August showing the move to C56 (with no offset), then reissued a day later showing the move to C67.
The trade view when plugging in a postcode does show the correct information, but the 'trade region' page doesn't.
Ofcom's most recent licensing document http://licensing.ofcom.or….pdf also shows C67 from 28/9/11 to 28/3/12.
