Stan Hill: Mendip has never previously used C48 or C52. If you are using a communal aerial, the distribution system might need retuning to amplify these channels instead of the old locations. If you had a similar problem in January when ArqB moved to C67, that's probably the issue now.
You might also or alternatively have another box, such as a Sky box or VCR, with an RF output on a clashing channel, most likely C43 or C47. RF outputs clash with the same channel, adjacent channels, and 5 and 9 channels higher. If you do, try turning it off if it's not used, or retuning it to C21 - this channel is unlikely ever to be used at Mendip.

Stan Hill: 813 isn't a standard location for any channel. BBC News should normally be on 80. Anything stored in the 800s is a duplicate of something else, and the order they get stored will depend on the order they are found or the relative strength, when you retune.
It could be an indicator that your box doesn't handle the larger Network Information Table, or other extended service information, correctly. Digital UK have a partial list of equipment known to have problems at http://www.digitaluk.co.u…tnit and more information for specific boxes at Digital UK Retail - Troubleshooting guides .

James: Sorry, it doesnt look as though anyone has responded to your query. I'm not clear when you last did a retune, but if it was before the 28th Sept. then you need to do another.
It's best to do a complete factory reset/new install, first with the aerial unplugged to clear all previous settings, then do it again with the aerial reconnected. See My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice for more information.
If that doesn't solve the problem, remove the booster and try again.

Gareth: I see nobody has responded, what you've missed is the retune was needed after the 28th, not before!
Follow the advice I've just given for James.

Robin barker: You haven't made it clear what you are receiving now or what you were getting before the 28th Sept. There are a number of options depending on which way your aerial is pointing.
In any event try a full factory reset/new install with the aerial disconnected, and then repeat with the aerial connected.
You may have do do a manual install because you may pick up transmissions from Wenvoe.
If so, the UHF channels for Mendip are C61,C54,C48,C52,C67 & if you have HD C58.
If you are still missing the Arq A (COM5) MUX on C67, you may get enough signal from Wenvoe, so try C49.

derek gregory: When you say communal aerial
system cabled into the house, do you mean it's supplied by an "association" and you have a feed?
If a full factory reset/new install does not solve your problem (see the Link "Freeview reset procedure" in the yellow box below) then you will need to get onto the owners of the aerial system as it's probably channelised and needs changing. There will be a similar issue in March 2012 if this is the case, and you may have had problems in January and last year during DSO.
As you haven't supplied a postcode, I don't know what other transmitters you nay pickup, so you may need to do a manual retune, if so see the post above to Robin.

Stan Hill: It's probable that you are getting some signals from Wenvoe which is confusing the situation.
Try a full factory reset/new install with the aerial unplugged to completely clear all previous setting and channel.
Then with the aerial reconnected, try a new MANUAL install using UHF channels C61,C54,C48,C52,C67 & if you have HD C58.
The link below in the yellow box "Freeview reset procedure" has some details on the reset.

Brian: same thing applies to you as to Stan. As you haven't given a postcode I can't say how good a signal you should normally get, but try the reset & manual install as detailed above.

Son in Law: you could be getting other transmitters as well. Try the reset & manual install as detail above.

Many thanks for the response. I think I may not have been clear enough with my question. A complete factory reset was performed on Wednesday 28th just as you suggested to James and then the retune was done with the aerial connected.
Are there any TVs/boxes that have an issue with channel 67?
Thanks again
