I live in CM2 and have two STBs and one tv with built-in freeview. They all get their signal via a loft aerial and 4 way booster. Up until the latest channel change I was getting a good signal on all TVs and all MUXs. Since the latest change one of the STBs refuses to find ch63, both the other two TVs are fine. I can only conclude from this that the problem lies within that particular STB, perhaps that's the issue with other contributors?

What I would do if I were you is either take the STB that doesn't find the channel to an aerial outlet that has been used to successfully tune in another receiver.
You could even try taking the 'working' STB or TV to the aerial socket where the one that won't pick it up.
Not all tuners are as sensitive as one another. If the cable from the amplifier to the wall socket is longer for one, then more signal will be lost along its length.
If the booster has a variable control on it, you might be able to adjust it. (DN31NJ)

aerial is on the roof feeding two teles one with a digi box one staight digital tv and there is abooster onthe aerial in the loft

It's not really an issue as the STB in question is in the spare room. All my cable runs are new WF100 and the STB is still reporting good or very good signal/quality on all the other MUXs. From memory the STB cost me the princely sum of £10 so I can't really complain, it was more a case of providing feedback on the channel change.

Hi. Do you know when ARQA and ARQB will be transmitting on reasonable power on the Sudbury transmitter? I used to get these fine before switchover but now I am without either. I sort of expected this to be fixed on 16th Nov when Taclestone switched but obviously not.

Kevin Hodges: You have to remember that no two devices have the same sensitivity, and the fact that you say that the two TV's are fine can in reality be simply because their tuners are slightly more sensitive than the boxes, and likewise are receiving a signal that's reached just enough above the cut off threshold to resolve a picture, the box likely being just under.
This coupled to the fact of the multiplex concerned (ArqB) being a few hundred watts less than the other low powered one (ArqA) does not make a good combination.
As the situation at the transmitter is not due to change until mid next year, you could try a factory re-set on the box then manually tune in Mux Ch63, if you get results then use the add channels or whatever its called on your device, to capture the other Muxes.

Ch 63, says i have 71% strength, but 0% quality. humax pvr.
am i right in saying i have the signal but no channels?
