Thanks again, Adam. That looks good - I'll call them tomorrow! Re the "2 aerials" possibility, the first time the guys came (some months ago - no charge - good of them) they did mention 2 aerials as a possib, but warned that sometimes the one aerial "shades" the other - ie interferes with the signal from the other.
I think we'd not need Crystal Palace at all in the future - other than if the Hannington signal was "shaky" for receiving all our usual progs - in which case, we might stick with CP, but if the Hannington signal was strong enough to enable us to get South Today, we might ask the guys to install the 2nd aerial- although that's a lot of extra work and cost for a 10-minute 6-nightly opt-out!.....although I guess ITV Meridien in HD might be a bonus!
Main reason for seeking South Today is a. we used to be able to receive it pre-Freeview, and b. BBC London's opt-out seems to have nothing but crime, arrests and other mal-doing (perhaps that's the way the world is!) whereas South Today has a much more regional/local flavour.......and I don't think I'm the first to express this!

What cables are you using at the moment?
If you have any marked with 3C2V or 3C-2V, then replace them with RG59 cables.
I think you need to get in touch with a LOCAL aerial services supplier for their assistance. You may actually get a better signal from Crystal Palace - even though my aerial points to Hannington, I can sometimes
get a manual search on channel 23 to find some of the BBC channels from Crystal Palace.

Nope, just got a cheap adapter male to male. Now have the full range of channels I had on one device on two. Coms 5 appears to have been turned up (or perhaps its just not windy or something, but it is coming through clearly)
Coms4 and 6 are missing but I can live with that, and they may appear over time anyway

tim: I also live in Fleet and I have a full set of channels from Hannington, including HD, all at a very good level.
I suspect that your aerial may be the wrong band and/or pointing in the wrong direction. Otherwise, there may be a problem with the downlead or connections.

I should add that I have a group B aerial feeding a 4-way passive splitter.
There are no boosters in my system, although I used to have a 4 output, 15dB mast-head amplifier in the loft, before DSO.

Andy, which direction do you have your ariel pointing? we actually live in church crookham (its only just down the road but it seems to make a huge difference- would it mean that we should be served by a different relay?)
I am finding it very odd, because while switchover is meant to be completed, it doesnt appear to be for us.
PBS2 appeared on the channel list this morning. While none of the channels appear to have yet been activated, it looks like we may get them soon.
I thought switchover was meant to be completed for this area though, which is why I am confused by this drip drip of muxes being added to our channel lineup
