Is there transmitter work still in progress?

The antenna is outside on the roof with masthead amplifier.
I have a new TV purchased a few months ago. When it was first tuned in I got a lot of channels. Since your latest changes a couple of weeks ago, when I retuned the TV I have lost a lot of channels. I have retuned several times but no improvements. Please can you advise on the situation. Thanks

MrMIn - It may be that you are getting too much power with the amp. Do you know how to turn it off?

Is it accessible to by-pass?

Incidentally do you think this is an official site? It isn't.

jb38: yes, you're right - unfortunately, I'm not very lucky where technology is involved, however thankfully I used to work in IT so sorting my computer out was reasonably easy and straightforward for me. :-)

Oddly enough, since my last posting on Saturday afternoon where I thought that I'd got back my lost channels temporarily, ALL of the channels that I had lost since 9th May have remained within the signal range of my TV and I have been watching ITV3 a good bit over the past 4 days as well as 5*, so it looks like for the moment at least, the problem has resolved itself or gone away (I have noticed that there are 3 "Transmitter Engineering" posts on here since Saturday particularly Sandy Heath, so whether something has been done which has helped my reception I don't know?) - strange that I seem to have got my channels back now that the weather has been poor, whereas I would have thought I would get better reception on a clear day ... oh well, never mind - I'm just pleased to be able to watch ITV3 again. ;-)

Thanks so much once again for all your kind help and input - it really has been appreciated.
