MH: Unfortunately that model is listed as being an "HD Ready" device, this meaning that its capable of showing HD images but only if they are fed from an external HD receiver via the HDMI socket.

MH: Although I can see that you have tried various things in an attempt to resolve the problem did this also included trying a manual tune of either of these channels? as although I am not 100% sure about your particular models tuning facilities, but generally if you go into the tuning menu / manual tune and enter the mux channel number that you want to scan, because as soon as this number is entered the signal level will appear without actually having to scan, although in your model you may have to.
I would suggest that you blank out the tuners memory before carrying out this procedure, blanking of the memory done by auto-tuning without the aerial being connected. (or another factory reset)

MH: The other thing I also meant to say was if when you were informed that the PCB had been changed it has to be assumed that the tuner is part of it, as the tuner is the prime suspect with this type of problem.
The other thing that crossed my mind was that the signal level you receive in the OX14 area could be a little on the high side and which could cause problems in a tuner with an iffy oscillator, so if you have access to a set top aerial I would be interested to know if anything was received scanning with that rather than your main aerial.
And regarding the main aerial, taking it that there isn't any type of booster being used? as if there is then for a test try by-passing it.

Jb38 I did try manual scan as well, as suggested, but no signal shown. Good signal strength shown for mix channels that it was tuning though. Bizarre that same aerial socket/leads picks up all channels via other freeview tuners but that toshiba 19" suddenly stopped doing so after working perfectly and still won't work after new PCB fitted. Planning on getting Samsung replacement.

Cannot receive any mud via indoor aerial that I have. Not aware that signal booster being used. Have rooftop aerial that is distributed around house via distribution box in loft. Not easy to get tv into loft to connect up directly so not planning on trying that. As all other freeview boxes working with same aerial/signal feed it does seem to be problem, of unknown cause, that has developed in the Toshiba. Thanks for suggestions so far.

MH: Best policy! although just from my own interest point of view the first chance I get I intend to have a look at the service sheet to see if the tuner is part of the main PC board, which of course is quite common on smaller TV's, because only a defective tuner can cause your problem as far as the fault being within the TV is concerned.
The other aspect being that possibly the tuner isn't available as a spare part as yet and this is why the entire board was changed.
Although one final test I would like you to try is to connect the offending TV straight onto the aerial and not via any splitter that you might be using to feed your other boxes / TV's, re-tuning it of course after having connected it directly into the main aerial.

Very difficult to get access to aerial directly in lift as no boards etc and I do not want to risk damaging tv before returning it for replacement. Many thanks for your assistance to date.

Happy ending. Just collected my new replacement TV, Samsung, for problem Toshiba. Samsung tuned in to ALL available channels first time with no pixelation/breakup etc. do not think that I will be buying Toshiba again.

MH: Good news then!! and pleased to hear that all is OK now thanks to your new and superior replacement, the success of on tuning same somewhat proving that the Toshiba's tuner was the proverbial duffer after all, as the tuner is the only component in the set (any set) that can cause that type of problem.
