Fiona Nevola: The frequency has changed at Midhurst on mux D3+4 (which carries ITV1&2) to C56. The frequency of the SDN mux which carries ITV3 is now C54. You will need to retune if you have not already done so to receive these muxes on the new frequencies. If your tuner does not automatically replace the channel list when scanning for channels you will need to do a factory reset to clear the memory of the old frequencies before rescanning.

It would have been nice to have been told in advance. How many people missed ITV & Ch 4&5 programmes last night? I was about to contact an aerial engineer. How many must have done so today?

Location: Horsham, West Sussex RH13 5RL.
I live in a Flat with a communial aerial located in the loft. Up until Wednesday evening - 3rd October 12 - reception on all ITV/Freeview stations was acceptable. Then, without any notice whatsoever the 'NO SIGNAL' appeared on all these stations. Meridian TV did not want to know and shunted me off to the Digital Tranfer Info Service. All I got was recorded announcements. In the end I had to contact a TV engineer who re-tuned my set - at a cost of £35. Here I should add that I am a pensioner aged 78. What kind of service is that>

ROBERT WORLEY: Often they put out messages in advance of an upcoming change. If they haven't then I can only say that that is the way these days....

The change was so as to throw free frequencies for 4G mobile phone networks (to be sold to the highest bidder).

Deeptheone: Your postcode resolves to a block of flats. If you are using a shared communal aerial system then this could be caused by a fault with it and it will be down to the party responsible to sort it out.

Yes Dave, it is part of the block of flats.

Dave, I checked with the neighbours this morning and told me that they had a similar problem on Wed when transmitter underwent an upgrade and after retuning got back the channels.
However in my case, Wednesday was okay in my case and we were having pblm only from Friday. It is an inbuilt freeview tuner in Sony Bravia.
I connected a indoor antenna and tried Digital manual Tuning and I see for Channel 50/54 Signal strength fluctuating between 40s and 90s and signal strength always at zero.
When I tried the communal antenna socket, the signal strength under 10s.
Any thoughts how I can get over this, please?

Thank you,
Deep
