Have lost BBC channels in Devizes (mendip transmitter I think) plus a number of others. No amount of retuning seems to help. Can anyone advise? Thanks!

BA4 5XD, within 5 miles of Mendip transmitter but not direct line of sight, newish roof ariel on a long pole.
Well, I've retuned, I've reset the DVR and then cleared the channels and retuned again...
I sincerely hope Mendip BBCA is going to have the signal strength returned to the level it was at befotre the retune today, as mine has dropped from a useable 89% to a miserable 30% on average.
I'm getting massive pixellation, 'no signal' messages and text has just gone. The BBC channels on C49 are just too weak today. If I turn my amp down I get no signal, if I remove the amp I get no signal.
Not impressed so far...
Will it be turned up again or is this the best new digital age I can expect?

Paul Blackman: 800MHz 4G cannot have any effect at your location.
Are you on a communal aerial?

Dave: no just a roof aerial. have tried every kind of re tune I can think of but still no BBC other than the 2 HD channels

Stuart: Try a manual tune on UHF channel 49 (for BBC standard definition services). Before pressing the button to scan (having entered/selected C49) wait and see if it gives an indication of strength/quality (you may have to give it 5 or 10 seconds to settle).

Hi, I'm at GL5 2HP with rooftop aerial connecting to Stroud relay. Since today's transmitter work I have v poor (unwatchable) picture for all BBC SD channels. BBC HD channels are fine.
Any ideas what I can do to resolve ?
I'm already pining for BBC News and BBC4!
Many thanks
