John: The transmitter isn't changing channels; it's your receiver that is retuning itself!

The BBC is on UHF channel 60 from Brierley Hill and ITV is on 57. Is this what you tuned it to?

I really dont know what Im talking about here, other than to say that all the channels broadcast on COM6 ArqB are no longer in my Freeview guide.

My main TV is affected, but not the TV that runs from the same ariel but via a different feed.

I have no Digibox and my Games Console is switched off. Have completed a full re-scan too as per "Local analogue interference" guidance.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Please ignore above.

Having thought about what i typed it could only be very local interference.

I removed all attached devices and rescanned.

Hey-presto.

Thanks for the info on the site, it gave me a way forwarch. cheers (52.5076,-2.1679)

Having trouble with reception from Brierley Hill today.

Have lost all channels on CH 57 (PSB 2) although all other tv channels are fine.

On all other multiplexes, it says that signal strength is excellent, but on this one there is none?

Have tried the reset procedure, no difference. Any ideas?

I am normally delighted with high quality of reception. However ITV3 and ITV4 seem to be out of sync with subtitles. The delay on the wording is about 4 seconds which is rendering the facility almost worthless. Maybe I have a fault on my tv (Panasonic Viera)

Would there be any reason why the signal on PSB1 & COM 1 would suddenly have dropped of late.

I have a box that measures strength & quality of the signal, and up until recently the strength would be 70+% and signal quality would be 90%, just recently though the strength is now 50 - 60% and quality 70 - 80%, although sometimes the quality will dip significantly.

All the other multiplexes are fine and are what they used to be, has this anything to do with 4G as its the multiplexes that are at the top of the band that are suffering?

Why does the freeview signal disappear in the early hours of the day. It is now 4.45am & I have no signal on any channel in the house. It was perfect at 10.30pm. The signal strength meter shows no signal & max error. We have a Tevion high gain aerial, 10 way amplifier.Your comments will be appreciated.

Bob Aston: Local interference, possibly from a nearby noisy electrical appliance, perhaps running on a timer.
