I am having trouble in getting a signal from Stockland Hill, two days now it has come up on screen no signal. I have done all the retuning etc. but nothing happens. Yesterday it did return in the evening but why not today. Have had a lot of trouble with freezing of picture lately since Freeview's retune.

I have been experiencing signal problems due to the high pressure. Where my TV channels can have no signal to them where I can not get clear pictures and also the colour goes to black and white a bit. I already know my communal aerial is connected to the Stockland Hill transmitter even though I am on Higher Warberry Road in Torquay. And I have been told it is not as good as the Beacon Hill transmitter. Which is why I get signal problems to make channels not tune in properly due to the high pressure. I would like an improvement to the Stockland Hill transmitter to prevent signal problems in high pressure.

Louise Stevens: I'm not sure that there is any 'high pressure' at the moment, or at least nothing thats been reported, and its sounds like there are other problems.

I'm slightly at a loss to understand why your communal aerial isn't using Beacon Hill, since at just 7km away, you might not need an aerial at all! Stockland Hill is closer than my transmitter, and would seem to have a reasonable signal, so its not the ned of the world.

If your getting 'no signal', the signal is either very weak, or has totally gone. You could just have a dodgy aerial lead. Do you have a digibox attached to your TV via a scart lead? If your picture goes from colour to black and white, it could be a loose scart lead.

This evening I have lost all Freeview channels I generally receive from Stockland Hill. At first it was just the HD channels which went and so I attempted a retune to get them back. Then all the regular digital channels began breaking up, and now they have all vanished altogether and a retune has resulted in not a single channel being found.
I keep getting the 'weak or no signal' screen. I have checked all my connections which are all correct as far as I can see.....

Gillie Sturcbecher: The connections you can see might be fine, but if your signal is weak or non-existant, then its almost certainly a problem with your system, probably a break (or wires so frayed as to be almost useless) or pssibly moisture in the wiring somewhere.

Since yesterday We have lost all HD channels from Stockland Hill. Reception up to then was very good. Digital channels are now breaking up a bit as well. Retuning finds no HD channels.
