Have you tried re-scanning C26 (514.0MHz)?

George: I think you're a little too far anti-clockwise to be able to get the local channel.

I assume the Keyworth location shown on the maps is correct? You are a little south west of the target area, the main signal being aimed into Nottingham and West Bridgeford. I know they are not that far from you but the transmitting aerials are quite good at targetting limited areas.
I suspect that in your location the signal strength will to rather too weak to get the service.

Since Wednesday I have had BBC channels lock, reduce sound, increase sound, programm display fails to work, cant change channels etc. All other channels work perfectly. I have same problem on 3 different boxes and 2 different TVs. I have retuned till I'm blue in the face.
I'm on Waltham trans and live in Castle Donington
using Bush and Goodman boxes.
Why do they keep trying to fix what aint broke?

Dave Hunter: OK - I have to tell you that my Goodmans box has also started freezing up the past couple of weeks (the bush and the Goodmans are same apart from the name). There seems to be certain channels its worse on, but retuning isn't going to make a blind bit of difference (since they dont manually tune, it can make things worse). BBC channels tend to be worst for this, but I suspect its the box reacting badly to a slight change. Software patches seem very unlikely.
I'm thinking of chucking the box if its not much better, since the only way I can reset it is to pull out the power at the back, and put it back in.
In the long term, any new TV will have a decent tuner built in...

Out of interest...
Does anybody know when the BBC's 'red button' services will be enabled on the DVB-T2 platform?
link to this comment |
SeeMoreDigital: From my understanding, the BBC is looking towards the high definition services being supported by an on-line offering, rather than re-broadcasting the whole data services on three multiplexes (only one of which it owns outright).
BBC - Connected Red Button & Red Button - Inside the BBC has some details.

Briantist: It's a pity the links to FAQ's and to find out which SmartTV's are compatible just bring back a '403 forbidden' response.
