why can I not get Freeview HD channels on my TV? Everything else works fine with strong signal reported.

Andy: Maybe because it doesn't contain a HD (DVB-T2) tuner. A make and model number would allow this to be checked.

Hi,
My girlfriends freeview went off yesterday abot 10:00pm, now all channels say no signal.
I have re searched all channels and sent to factory settings but no help, she lives in East London.
Any help please.

kev: The most obvious question is does she use a signal amplifier (booster) or does she live in a block with a communal aerial system? Loss of power to an amplifier or a fault with it could yield this outcome.

Michael Griggs: You asked the same question on 21 January 2013 and I answered you. Unless there have been any changes to the terrain in the area then the answer remains the same!

Do you know if the forces channel is coming toffreeview ?

Peter Webber: Forces TVForces TV has some details for that channel.
It's down to the channel, if they want they can rent the space the next time there is extra capacity, or have themselves as part of one of the IPTV providers.
The answer is, I suspect, "there are no plans at this time".

Peter Webber.
It is currently available on Freesat but not on Freeview as yet. As Briantists says, it's all down to the operators where they are transmitted from, terrestrial transmitters or satellites or both.
