Charing Heath is having daily problems with all TVs showing 'No Signal' for periods of a day - usually the afternoon. An engineer has said "that it could be the new G4 signal interfering or the new French transmitter in Calais"
An engineer is visiting one person today
Currently posted on our village FB page - Charing Heath and Lenham Heath Villages
Any comment? it certainly cant be the weather because it happens in different weather conditions.

Margaret smith: I couldn't work out from a quick search who/what Transfusion is but if it carries phone lines, you should contact BT Openreach (see Report damage to BT cables, poles, cabinets or manholes | BT If it carries power cables, you should contact the company responsible for electricity distribution in your area (they should be listed on the first few pages of The Phone Book or Yellow Pages if you still have a copy). If it is on your property, do you receive a wayleave payment for it? The wayleave paperwork will tell you who it belongs to. If neither of those are successful, your local council may have records of who it belongs to.

Margaret Smith: Further to the comment made by StevensOnin1. If the pole is on "your" land the pole owner would have had to come to an agreement with the landowner (presumably you) and you both would have had to sign a contract. That would give them right of access for installation and maintenance and would state what annual payment they would make in return. But if that agreement was made with a previous owner you may not be aware of it, although it should have been passed to you as the new owner. (The original owner may still be getting the payment due to you!) On the other hand if you are renting the property the agreement will be with the landlord and you should contact him.

I have just purchased a LG 22inch Full HD TV I set it all up and tuned it in with no probs only to find that i am not getting any HD channels. I live in maidstone ME15-7UW and can see the bluebell transmitter. My aerial is a new log periodic wide band. Can you help please.

kevin hicks: Does the TV have a Freeview HD (DVB-T2) tuner? Full HD only refers to the screen resolution, not the type of tuner required to received HD channels on UK Freeview. If you're not sure, either post the model number or check the specifications in the manual or on LG's website.

No reception BBC digital service from Bluebell Hill transmitter in Broadmead Tunbridge Wells, All BBC Channels Zoro signal strength!!!! 1641 pm 22/06/17 intermittent breaks frequent over period of days and weeks. Receiving all independent channels at 80% signal strength no problems !! What is going on please? Tel 01892 514 283, 148 Broadmead, Tunbridge Wells, TN25NN.

P A Johnson: There does appear to have been work taking place at Bluebell Hill within the last few days, however I couldn't see anything to suggest that there was any planned work taking place today. Have you checked behind your TV for any loose or damaged cables or connections? Also, posting your phone number online is not advised and is only likely to result in unwanted calls rather than a response from any broadcaster or transmitter company. There was no need to post your full address either, just a postcode would have been sufficient.
