StevensOnln1: No, I haven't contacted the helpline myself, because I don't currently have a problem, although I thought I did earlier today. But I am glad to hear that the helpline does have the resources to provide new aerials where needed. I hope that this may be of assistance to Michael and Roger.
Anyone thinking of installing a wideband aerial at their own expense would be well advised to check beforehand with neighbours or the installer that this would make reception possible. Channels 35, 55 and 56 are broadcast at significantly lower levels than the main channels, so receiving them will always be more difficult.

I called the so called Freeview advice line who hadn't a clue about the missing BBC HD channels on the CP transmitter
all group A aerials on the CP transmitter will need to be replaced I guess with a wideband aerial if you wont to receive BBC HD news BBC4 ETC

I did a retune yesterday morning. I used to have 18x channels now I have 155. I know I have lost all HD services above 105. I don't know which others are missing.
I live in NW London, and normally have good reception on all channels from Crystal Palace.
Unfortunately we have a communal aerial, so if a new one is needed, I presumably have to convince the housing association that one is necessary (they will probably argue most people watch through Sky!).

Martin R: You'll need to get in touch with your Housing Association as the aerial system may need adjusting (communal aerials systems often have filters to block signals from unwanted transmitters which will need to be changes following yesterdays frequency changes) or the aerial may potentially need replacing if it isn't a wideband type.

Ch33 & 35 have moved to 50 & 55? T
his is outside a normal aerial spread, now need a wideband one to restore the situation. Shame Freeview didn't mention this on their Facebook warnings. DTG :: News :: Update on 700 MHz Clearance

Does anyone know what frequency the Local network (previously on C29)has moved to ?
the guide on here for frequency changes over time removes any reference to it after March 21st
