Put her full post code into About us | Freeview add her house name/number and select the Detailed option. Then press go and check the list given. It will be the channel numbers, as used by most TV sets. If hers requires actual frequencies, the look at a channel to frequency guide, such as that at UHF channel and frequency guide

The channel information on the Whitehawk Hill (Brighton and Hove, England) Full Freeview transmitter | free and easy page
does not match up.
The "Which Freeview channels does the Whitehawk Hill transmitter broadcast?"does not match with
the "How will the Whitehawk Hill (Brighton and Hove, England) transmission frequencies change over time?"
for the current date

The information here is not up-to-date unfortunately, as the site owner has not been able to keep up with all the changes to over 1100+ transmitters.
Put your postcode into About us | Freeview where you will see the current channels for transmitters you can receive at your location, and the predicted reception.
DigitalUK is the authority for all this information and it's usually up-to-date. See also Channel listings | Freeview and Help | Freeview for latest update information etc.

Meant to add, to be clear there are no further planned changes for Whitehawk Hill, current UHF channels are 48, 35, 36 (HD), 32,34, 33 for which a Group K aerial is best (a wideband would do).

Worthing
Hello,
I've retuned Freeview TV on Wednesday 16th October as required for Whitehawk Hill transmitter but I have lost all HD channels. According to various sites the BBCB HD channels have moved to a frequency of 36. All SD and radio channels have been found and I have not noticed any interference with these. I have tried two televisions now, both manually tuning using Frequency 36, at first a signal strength is shown as 100% and reduces to 0% after ~10 seconds.
If any one has any tips or knows what has happened I would be most grateful.
Just to say the HD channels were fine before the retune date, I have an external aerial on the roof which was installed 2 years ago.
Many thanks,
Stephen

If you had an aerial installed 2yrs ago it should have been a Group T or Wideband rather than the original C/D group for Whitehawk Hill. However if you are in a possible "marginal" location the recent changes and changes elsewhere can affect the potential reception. If you provide your full postcode we can offer constructive comment on your predicted reception.
As mentioned in the post before yours a group K aerial is all that is needed now for Whitehawk Hill it would have slightly better sensitivity than a Wideband, but that wouldn't be necessary if predicted reception at your location is good. There maybe other reasons you are having problems such as incorrectly tuned to weak signals from another transmitter. See the post before yours to check for the correct channels.

Has the analogue signal been switched off for Hove area? We were able to view our CCTV on an analogue Chanel until last week.

Liz: The last analogue TV transmitters were switched off back in 2012. Your CCTV system will only be viewable in your building and has nothing to do with any transmitter. Check with whoever installed the system (or whoever is responsible for maintenance if part of a communal aerial system), it may need to be adjusted to operate on a different UHF channel.
