What signal strength are you getting according to your TV or decoder box? I know these readings are not accurate, but it might give some idea. Do you have a roof aerial that is extra-large? I got a Group B aerial as I thought this would be optimised for the transmitter at Blackhill. However, this may change in the future if Ofcom change the frequencies.

Steve:
To be able to offer any suggestions to resolve this issue we really need a full post code of where you live (or that of a very nearby shop or post office) so that the reception conditions for your local transmitter can be determined.

alexei romanov: Last August, you complained about signal problems and not getting BBC.
I replied 'However, a decent bet is that your aerial has a problem, perhaps a frayed cable, etc. Check your signal strength (obviously make sure your tuned to the transmitter your meant to be) - and then check your system. It might be something as simple as a loose or broken aerial lead from the back of the set.'
You concluded it was engineering work. Now your system has died. My advice still applies.

Alexei Romanov:
The problem you are reporting is characteristic of too much signal on the HD multiplexes - as you have been previously advised.
