: my thinking was that 59 is not re-broadcast by the transmitters at the moment and will not be used by after the switch-over. It is a temporary service. I don't see how moving it from one to the other would affect the relays. It might improve in the short term and I was simply postulating that this might explain why people are seeing improvement in HD. Is it possible to know whether the new mast is in use rather than both of us guessing?

Scott: The preview service is mixed in with the FIVE , it does not use any new "air" equipment.
As FIVE analogue is decommissioned after I can't see them doing anything with it other than switching it off when the time comes.

does anyone know of any issues in the East Kilbride area. Only got our arial fitted 1 year ago when we moved. it worked fine until 1 day last week when we put the tv on and it was pixelating and still is. arial seems fine. it's getting rather annoying.

Hi, my parents tv can no longer recieve ,tried retune, nothing! could anyone shed some light on this please?, only 1-4 beforehand, 1,2,3 are still working fine, area is renfrewshire,scotland PA9, shouldn't of been till May, checked with transmitters on here, say they are fine, don't know what to try next.

Allan: As already answer the first time you posted, do this My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice to the TV.

Please post a question, answer or commentIf you have Freeview reception problems before posting a question your must first do this Freeview reset procedure then see: Freeview reception has changed, Single frequency interference, and Freeview intermittent interference.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
