W Archer: It looks like your prediction for both Crystal Palace and Bluebell Hill is, at best, variable.
Bluebell Hill uses the same frequency for the ITV channels (i.e. multiplex 2) as Sandy Heath now does for the D3&4 multiplex. BH uses the same frequency for Multiplex A as Sandy Heath does for BBC A (since 30 March). This probably explains why the prediction has dropped from variable to no prediction at all.
If analogue reception is poor, it's likely there is a fault with your aerial and/or cabling. I would see Freeview Intermittent Interference for some thoughts.

In addition to the problem with Sandy Heath,
I think anyone west of BBH with an aerial looking south east (so Dartford, Gravesend, Basildon etc) will have ongoing problems this summer on D24 (itv1, ch4 etc) and D27 (ITV3 etc).
There is a high power mast in Lille that has just gone digital using these channels. I am on Bluebell Hill and picked up French TV on D21 all evening last Saturday and I live in Greater London!
I do not see a solution till switchover next year. Sorry folks !

I am currently having problems with freeview. I get good reception from about midday til about 6pm but outside of these times I lose all the channels on MUX 2 & 3 of bluebell hill. I have done alot of research and know it is down to the atmospherics. How can I get around this problem? or do you have any contact details for bluebell hill transmitter to get advice?
I have tried realigning to Crystal Palace but I also lose certain channels. I am extremely frustated.
Please help.

I can see the bluebell hill transmitter, I have a DTV broadband aerial, with clear line of sight. Yet all the ITV programs eother breakup or are not there at all. This started about Novemeber last year. When on ITV grouped channels, My Humax Fview box reports Signal Strength 68% with a varying Quality of nothing to a max of 60% Yet when on all others it reports the same 68% signal and 100% quality. WHY????? and what can be done?????
